

Pamela West Gabbert, 64, of Victoria passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017. She was born January 6, 1953 in Cuero to her father, Carlos Lee West, her mother, Audien Wiley Rokyta and step-father, Leo John Rokyta. She was a kind hearted, loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family. She lived for her children and grandchildren and was very family oriented. Pamela was a very giving person who never met a stranger and was always ready to help anyone in need. She was also a beautician for over 40 years and a member of Faith Family Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Megan Elizabeth Gabbert of Victoria; son, Tyler Clay Gabbert and wife, Kimberly of Parker, Colorado; sisters, Linda Hardcastle of Houston, Shirley Bauer of Victoria and Gail Kalisek of Port Lavaca; grandchildren, Matthew and Dylan Gabbert. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Gabbert; and brother, L. J. Rokyta, Jr.
Visitation will be from 6 – 8- pm Monday, February 6, 2017 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will be at 10 am Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels, Pastor Mike Perez officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Gabbert, JR Bauer, Ethan Fitzgerald, John Cornish, Jessie Gonzales, Jeremiah Gonzales, Joe Gonzales and Robert Leuschner.
