

Patricia Tuttle Williams, 79, of Victoria passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2012. She was born in Upshur County, Texas on December 11, 1932 to the late J. Noble Tuttle and Christina O’Byrne Tuttle. Patricia was valedictorian of Union Grove High School, Class of 1950, in Gladewater, Texas. She attended Incarnate Word University where she met Kemper Williams, Jr. They were married on July 14, 1952 at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Gladewater and moved to Victoria. Patricia followed Kemper from Camp Roberts, California to Fort Benning, Georgia during his Army career. They returned to Victoria after Kemper completed law school and Patricia devoted the rest of her life to her family. She was an accomplished artist, decorator, musician and homemaker. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Cathedral for over fifty years where she was active in the choir and was also a member of the Victoria Civic Chorus.
She is survived by her husband, Kemper S. Williams; her four children, Cecilia Ann Pratt (Robert Allison, fiance) of Bay City, Mary Patricia Tinsley (Stephen) of Victoria, Jane Nancy Newton (Charles) of The Woodlands and Kemper Stephen Williams, III (Stephanne) of Victoria; brother, J.A. Tuttle; fifteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm, Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Our Lady of Victory Cathedral. The Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, January 13, 2012 at Our Lady of Victory Cathedral. Private burial at Evergreen Cemetery will held at a later date.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Sam, Charles and Will Pratt; Gabriel, Caleb and Klaus Tinsley; Charles and Mark Newton; Kemper Stoner IV and John Williams.
The family wishes to thank all of her caregivers, Denise Whipple, Stephanie Diaz, Sheila Guerrero, Gloria Sanchez, Raylene Simms and all others at Caring Senior Services and especially to Hospice of South Texas.
