

Patsy Lynn West White, born July 28, 1948 in McClain County, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2024 in Victoria, Texas. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, three brothers, her husband, Wayne and her son, David Wayne.
Patsy is survived by her three devoted daughters, Stacy (William) Loosemore of Rockport, Texas; Rhonda (Joby) Moore of Goliad, Texas and Shannan White of Refugio, Texas. One sister, Cindy (Richard) Chupe of Rockport, Texas. She leaves behind her legacy of love through her eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Patsy’s childhood was spent in Rivera, Texas before her family settled in Rockport, where she became a cherished member of the community. It was during her teenage years in Rockport that she met the love of her life, Wayne White. They were united in marriage on September 20, 1966, and together they raised their four children while running a small engine business until their retirement.
A passionate lover of fishing, reading, and sewing, Patsy found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she cherished every moment spent with them. After the passing of Wayne, Patsy moved to Goliad to be with her daughter and son-in-law, where she formed a beautiful friendship with Nonie. Along with Nonie’s husband, they enjoyed fishing trips and shopping excursions, and always embracing the joy of life.
Patsy was a remarkable mother and wife, known for her caring and loving nature. Her warmth and kindness touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed by family, friends, and the many lives she impacted.
A private graveside service will be held for family to honor her memory. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages those who wish to celebrate Patsy’s life to engage in acts of kindness in her honor.
