Paul Basquez Jr.

Paul Basquez, Jr., 47, of Victoria passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014. He was born May 16, 1967 in Giddings to Paul Bazquez, Sr. and Virginia Cortez Basquez, of Victoria. He was a brick layer and a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his long time companion, Nancy Lucio of Victoria; sisters, Christina Basquez and Cynthia (Jesse) Castillo, both of Victoria; brother, Gilbert (Regina) Basquez of Edna.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Steven Basquez.

The family will receive friends at Rosewood Funeral Chapels Monday, November 10, 2014 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm.

Funeral services will be at 9:00 am Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Gilbert Basquez, Paul Basquez, James Basquez, Jesse Castillo, Sr., Jesse Castillo, Jr. and Jacob Castillo.
