Peggy Carol Baker

Peggy Carol Baker, 56, of Victoria, passed away August 15, 2016. Peggy was born in Georgetown, June 11, 1960 to the late Leroy and Nellie Jo Flora Everts. Peggy enjoyed trail rides with family and friends and loved her companion, Daisy Duke the dog. She worked many years in maintenance and janitorial for the Port Lavaca Nursing and Rehab.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Clyde Lee Baker, Sr.; sons, William Baker (Erin) of Karnes City, Clyde Lee Baker, Jr. (Laura) of Altus, OK; daughter, Tricia Denson (Danny) of Karnes City; sisters, Joann Lee of Mathis, Patricia Sue Maynard of Georgetown, Vicky Lee Bemis of Victoria, Beverly June of Georgetown, Robin Kay Youngblood of Rogers, Abby Gay Vasquez of Georgetown, Tonya Jean Everts of Georgetown, Beth Baker White of Virginia; brothers, William Leroy Everts (Mary Lou) of Jarrell, Howard Ray Everts (Cindy) of Ganado, Anthony Kevin Everts (Mitzi) of San Antonio, John Randall Everts (Jennifer) of San Antonio, Jack Baker of Port Lavaca; 6 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Kathy Everts and brothers, James Michael Everts and Andy Roy Baker.

A Celebration of Life will be held, Thursday, August 18, 2015 at 10 AM at Rosewood Funeral Chapels with Pastor Michael Yonts officiating.
