

Raymond Walter Pawlik, 94, of Victoria, passed away, Monday, August 1, 2016. Raymond was born in Yorktown February 14, 1922 to the late Frank and Victoria Maron Pawlik. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was a member of the United States Army and served in World War II as a medic.
He is survived by his daughters, Janice Watson (Bobby) of Westhoff, Alayna Pawlik of Victoria; sons, Raymond Pawlik, Jr. of Westhoff, Walter Pawlik (Mollie) of Westhoff, Gerald Pawlik (Shirley) of Houston, Lester Pawlik (Diane) of Yoakum, Daniel Pawlik (Andrea) of California and Frank Pawlik of Victoria; brother, Victor Pawlik (Joan)of Coldspring; 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
Raymond is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Emilie Lillian Pawlik.
A visitation will be held Friday, August 5, 2016 from 6-7 pm at Rosewood Funeral Chapels with a Rosary to be recited at 7 pm.
A funeral mass will be held Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 10 am at Holy Family Catholic Church. A graveside service will be at 1 pm at Westhoff Cemetery with military honors.
Pallbearers will be Raymond’s grandsons.
