Robert L. “Donnie” Loos, 72, of Victoria passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2010. He was born April 20, 1937, in Victoria to the late Edward and Pattie Cook Loos. He served his country in the Navy Reserves. Donnie was employed as a welder for Trunkline Gas for thirty-two years.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred “Millie” Holloway Loos of Victoria; sons, Kirk Loos and his wife, Imelda of Victoria, Tyson Loos and his wife, Pam of Hurst; step-sons, Larry Stroud and his wife, Delores, Garry Stroud and his wife, Kathy, and Jerry Williams and his wife, Lila; sister, Gene Kupfernagel; sister-in-law, Peggy Loos all of Victoria; grandchildren, Meghan Loos Rush and husband, Matt, of Longview, Cody Loos of Odessa, Mason Loos of Plano and Katie Loos of Victoria.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Beck, and brothers, DeLasso Loos, Edward Loos and Joe K. Loos.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm Friday, March 26, 2010, at Rosewood Funeral Chapels.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Saturday, March 27, 2010, at Rosewood Funeral Chapels, Rev. J. V. Helms officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Heinold, Garry Stroud, Jerry Williams, Larry Stroud, Bob Purdy and Cody Loos.
Honorary pallbearers will be Louis Marbach, Rex Ritchey, Buddy DeDear, Billy Carroll, Stan Heinold, John Pappillion and Josh Sikorski.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
