Robert Garcia Torres, 70, of Pasadena, TX passed away suddenly March 13, 2019. Robert was born March 3, 1949 in Victoria, TX to the late Faustino Torres and Roberta “Ruby” Garcia Torres. Robert adored his family, especially his grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved and regarded as his own. The friendships that he developed throughout his life were life-long relationships resulting in an immeasurable amount of people who loved him and that will immensely miss him.
Robert is survived by his sons, Robert Bryan Torres (Gina) of Houston, TX, Stephen Alan Torres of Pasadena, TX; sisters, Estela Phillips of Corpus Christi, TX, Genevieve “BB” Hinojosa of Houston, TX, Gloria Torres of Victoria, TX; grandchildren, Autumn Rae Torres, Summer Alexis Torres, Bryan Joseph Torres, Isaiah Stephen Torres and Rudy Martinez, Jr. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Delores Creager, brothers, Jesse and Ernest Torres, and grandson Stephen Ignacio Torres.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 19, 2019 from 5-7 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 2 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with burial to immediately follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Robert B. Torres, Stephen A. Torres, Bryan J. Torres, Isaiah Torres, Rudy Martinez Jr. and LeeRoy Creager Jr.
