I have many memories with Robert and all of which are good. I met Robert in 1996 when my cousin moved to Dick St and Robert and his sister Rochelle lived around the corner, I had no idea he was Rochelle's brother as her and I went to school together. Robert and me became good friends amd every time we were at my cousins house it was usually Robert amd me hanging out, we would play basketball at Robert's house or sit in his room amd listen to music. Robert was also very good friends with my cousin and that is how we became close friends. I remember quite often we would go fishing with my aunt and cousins in Port Lavaca and Robert would always say or do something to make us burst out laughing! I can't remember a time we didn't get along. We lost touch as we became adults and started having children but I never forget him. RIP buddy you'll always be remembered as the funny, kindhearted dude I knew.

I had the wonderful opportunity to spend time with Robbie all by myself. He truly helped me save my home from flooding by putting 100 sandbags around the back so the super rain storms would flow on ea side instead of thru the back porch/doors. He also did this with about 2 hours notice. We problem solved, hurried, laughed, sweated and giggled so proud of ourselves because it worked!! From then on it was a running joke with us. I loved his kindness, his laugh and giving nature. I had already loved him so much - so much it matches the whole I have in my chest right now. I will forever be blessed that he was in my life on earth, and will be looking for him when I get to heaven. - Darla
