Rosa Lee Harpin

Rosa Lee Harpin, 84, of Victoria passed away at home March 3, 2017. She was born on February 23, 1933 to Guy and Fronia Ferguson Sutton in Pineland, Texas. She married Lawrence Alexander Harpin on December 24, 1950 in Victoria. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church of Victoria.

Rosa Lee is survived by four children, Victoria Harpin Shure and husband Peter, Veronica Harpin Tate and husband Robert, Virginia Harpin Beard and husband Johnny, Matthew Lawrence Harpin and wife Tammy; eight grandchildren, Garrett Wagner, Drue Wagner, Rachal Robinson Frank, Brian Tate, Brad Tate, Hillary Fluitt Rosengrant, Angela Harpin and Stefen Harpin; twelve great grandchildren, Abigail, Ethan, Charis, Brielle, Cosette, Ace, Lexi, Arya, Kaitlyn, Cannon, Allison and Hayden; and sister Nancy Osborn.

Rosa Lee was preceded in death by husband Lawrence, daughter Valerie Harpin Robinson, parents, sister, Violet Sue Smit, and brother, David Edwin Sutton.

Rosa Lee managed the Coastal Bend Post Office Federal Credit Union for 27 years from 1968-1995.

Visitation will be held at Rosewood Funeral Chapel at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 7, 2017 with funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Tim Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandchildren Garrett Wagner, Brian Tate, Drue Wagner, Brad Tate, Hillary Rosengrant and Ethan Tate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mighty Men Ministry through Northside Baptist Church.
