Rose Evelyn Donaho, 88 of Inez, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 3, 2024. Rose was born July 1, 1936 in Victoria to the late Alvina Kloesel and Frank Miori Sr. Rose graduated from Industrial Consolidated High School, where she met the love of her life, Arnold Donaho. Soon after, they married on October 25,1955, and were married 65 years, having loved to travel the world and experience new cities and places until his passing in 2020. Rose worked for Garland Sandhop,in Edna, for over 30 years and was a dedicated and faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Inez. Granny, as her grandchildren affectionately called her, was the rock of her family, and enjoyed cooking, working in the yard, or relaxing in her rocker looking at the clouds or listening to the birds.
Rose is survived by her daughters, Kathy Kuchler (Michael) of Inez, Terri Donaho of Inez; sister, Willa Mae Sandhop (Garland) of Inez; brother, Pat Miori (Ruth) of Inez; grandchildren, James Kuchler (Lori), Duane Kuchler, Kara Howard (Ryan), Amy Emigh and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Anna Marie Hencerling; brother, Frank Miori Jr. and great grandson, Weston Kuchler.
Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, August 9, 2024 from 9-10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Inez with Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 10 am. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Rose’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren; James Kuchler, Duane Kuchler, Ryan Howard, Zoen Kuchler, Zaydan Kuchler, Zachery Kuchler, Nicholas Kuchler, Karys Howard, Drew Howard and Wyatt Lashbrook.
