It is with the greatest of sorrow that we announce Rose Rojas, beloved wife to Miguel Rojas for 70 years, ascended peacefully into heaven in their home on Saturday July 18, 2026 at the age of 92. She was surrounded by her family.
Rose is preceded in death by her parents Jose and Eulalia Villarreal. In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her brothers Frank and Richard Villarreal. Rose is survived by her 3 children, Michael, Veronica and Xavier and her 8 grand-children.
Rose is a proud alumnus of Nazareth Academy, Victoria. Rose hired on with Bank of America-Houston and rose to the rank of Vice President, International Private Banking (IPB), where she retired in 1998. Rose was highly respected and became a valuable asset to her department.
Rose dedicated her life to serving others in multiple capacities. Her passion for helping others was immeasurable. Numerous friends and family were benefactors of her ability to navigate processes where the end result for whom she was assisting was approval. Rose was educated, articulate, caring, professional and motivated by fairness to all. Rose was a fearless advocate for advancement and encouraged everyone to remember you had a voice and to use it, with grace and truth.
Rose cared deeply about her family. She always said her family was her proudest accomplishment. Her love for family was rich, warm and unconditional.
The family extends our unwavering gratitude to our Private Home Care Staff affectionally known as our “Holy Trinity” as well as Harbor Hospice. All of whom provided compassionate care for Rose. They will always be remembered with deep and sincere appreciation.
Rose, our beloved momma is lovingly remembered for her warmth, her steadfast catholic faith, her grace and fairness, her beautiful smile but most of all her unconditional love.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests, with gratitude, that those who desire to make memorial contributions do so to Meals on Wheels-South Texas or Harbor Hospice-Victoria.
