Ross Henry Lovel

Ross Henry Lovel, 84, of Victoria passed away May 17, 2015. He was born in Brownwood, Texas, February 15, 1931, to the late John and Angelina Knezek Lovel. Mr. Lovel was self employed as an auto parts salesman for many years and was owner of Lovel Auto Parts. Ross was an avid fisherman and hunter. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Dohman Lovel of Victoria; daughters, Susan Urban and husband, Randy of Friendswood and Jennifer Palacios and husband, Thomas of Corpus Christi; sons, Kevin Lovel and wife, Janice of Victoria and Patrick Lovel of San Leon, Texas; sister, Mary Ann Pawlik of George West, Texas; grandchildren, Jason and Chad Lovel and Lauren, Luke and Travis Urban; one great-grandchild, Skylar Lovel.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm, Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Services will be held at 10 am Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Barney Matocha officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jason and Chad Lovel, Travis and Luke Urban, Thomas Palacios and Paul Bittlebrun.
