Ruben Marquez-Macias, 43, passed away in Victoria on September 10, 2016. He was born in Aguascalientes, Mexico on October 6, 1972 to Gildardo Marquez and Esperanza Macias of Mexico. He served in the Air Force in the Mexican Military. Ruben was a quality control manager in the oilfield.
He is survived by his parents, his wife, Ruth Torres; his daughter, Daniela Marquez-Torres; and his son, Alan Marquez-Torres, both of Victoria; one sister and three brothers.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Rosewood Funeral Chapel from 5-7 pm. Funeral services will be held at 9 am Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.
Pallbearers will be Enrique Macias, Fernando Macias, Christian Macias, Alan Marquez, Antonio Marquez and Daniel Marquez.
