Tammi Best, daughter of Travis & Joan Vollmering was born May 3, 1960 in Edinburgh, Texas. She had 5 siblings but was family to all who knew her. Tammi was a Realtor for more than 25 years and beloved by all she worked with. She raised two wonderful sons and was active in all of her niece’s and nephew’s lives. She lived in the knowledge that the Lord was her God and she was righteous in Him.
She enjoyed all that life had to offer, lived life to the fullest and loved fiercely. She never met a stranger, was everyone’s best friend, and the life of the party with her infectious laugh and her way of finding humor in any situation. She spent her life not caring what anyone thought, standing her ground and refusing to follow the rules. Her favorite phrase “oh hell no” will carry on and bring a smile to all who remember her waving finger.
Tammi was also lovingly known as Mom, Ya-Ya, Weezer, Omi, Meme and the “favorite aunt!” She is survived by her sons, Jason Brannan & Tyler LaFour, her grandchildren Marlee LaFour, Payton Brannan & Drake Brannan; mother Joan Vollmering; siblings Vanessa Scheumack and husband John, Shawn Vollmering and wife Bonnie, Chris Vollmering, Travis Vollmering, Laura Stehling and husband Nelson; her lifetime bestie Diann Marlow, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She is preceeded in death by her father Travis Vollmering.
