Funeral Services for Thomas (Tommy) Henry Orsak will be held at 10:00 am Monday, November 4, 2013, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Victoria, Texas, Father Dominic Antwi-Boasiako officiating. A Rosary will precede the service at 9:30 am and will be led by Tommy and Betty Orsak of Bay City. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Victoria.
Tommy, who died Tuesday, October 29, 2013, was the husband of the late Patricia Rippamonti Orsak who preceded him in death in 2006. They were married March 31st, 1951. He was born in Frenstat, Texas (Burleson County) on May 23, 1923, to John and Anna Marek Orsak. Tommy had a large family of 12 brothers and sisters. In the 1930’s, Tommy joined the Civilian Conservation Corps and later joined the Navy, serving his country in WWII. Tommy then went to work for Central Power and Light and retired after 38 years of service.
He is survived by 3 children, Deborah Orsak, of Victoria, Thomas Orsak of Victoria, and Mark and wife Joyce Orsak, of Andrews, Texas. He also leaves behind 2 grandchildren, Rachel and husband Daniel Ochoa of Leander, Texas, and Evan Orsak and wife Kayla, of Dallas, Texas; also 2 great grandchildren Canon and Lauryn Ochoa. Surviving sibling is Marcella Schraub of Bay City and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jim Orsak, Randy Finch, Bill Kutac, John Finch (Buck), Craig Prukop and Daniel Roznovsky.
