Timothy Wayne Scherer

Timothy Wayne Scherer, 65, passed away October 7, 2024. Timothy was born January 29, 1959 in Victoria, TX to the late Arthur and Betty Ford Scherer. Timothy graduated from Victoria High School in 1977. He worked as a steel worker for Safety Steel for 10 years and then worked in the oilfield for 30 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and being outdoors.

He is survived by his sons, Josh Scherer and John Scherer and brother, Kent Scherer all of Victoria.

Timothy is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Terry Scherer, one sister and one brother.

Visitation will be Friday, November 1, 2024 from 9-10 AM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with funeral service to follow at 10 AM. Burial will immediately follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Clay Ohrt, Garrett Ohrt, Roger Hemple, Caden Hemple, Robert Briscoe and Wyatt Lesikar.

Honorary pallbearers are Brandon Coons, Myri Coons, Mara Coons, Jeremy Baros and Tabatha Coons.
