Travis Klynt Madden

Travis Klynt Madden, 18, of Inez passed away Sunday, December 11, 2011 in Kingsville. He was born in Victoria, on February 27, 1993, to Travis Keith and Carol Goodman Madden of Inez. Travis attended Memorial High School in Victoria during the 2008-09 school year, graduated in 2011 from Industrial High School, and was continuing his studies as a first year student at Texas A&M University-Kingsville majoring in chemical engineering. Having a love of baseball from an early age, Travis was a member of the 2003 Victoria Little League 10 year old State Champion Team, and most recently was a member of the A&M Javelina Baseball Team.

Survivors include his parents, Travis Keith and Carol Madden; sisters, Lauren Lee Madden and Emily Claire Madden all of Inez; girlfriend, Kelsey Thomas of Inez and grandfather, Travis L. Madden of Victoria.

Travis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Francine Madden, Willie Joe and Lena Goodman.

The family will receive friends at Rosewood Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, December 14, 2011, from 4-7 PM with a rosary being recited at 7 PM.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 10 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 704 Mallette Drive, Victoria, 77904, with interment to follow in Crescent Valley Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be John Thomas, Roland Walcott, John “Bubba” Duke, Ryan Tuso, Ryan Stuart, Kyle Klimitchek, Karsen Klimitchek and Denver Diefenbach.

Honorary pallbearers include Texas A & M Kingsville Javelina Baseball players and coaches, former Victoria Memorial High School teammates and coaches, and former Industrial High School teammates and coaches.
