

Umbelina “Lisa” Saenz Flores, 47, courageously continued on her journey to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 01, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Lisa was born to Agapito “Pisqua” & Mary (Gomez) Saenz on June 18, 1966. Originally of Hebbronville, Texas, and raised in Victoria, Texas, Lisa was a proud 1984 Cum Laude Graduate of Stroman High School. Lisa loved to dance, especially to Tejano music. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her animals. She excelled in everything she set her mind and heart to do. She was a Paralegal for Bernard T. Klimist Law Office for 27 years and was well respected in the legal community. She was a member of Faith Family Church.
Lisa was welcomed to the Kingdom of Heaven by her infant son, John Peter Valenzuela; maternal grandfather, Luz M. Gomez and paternal grandparents, Lorenzo & Julianita Saenz of Hebbronville, Texas.
She is now the Guardian Angel of her husband, Plinio “Pino” Flores, Jr.; her daughters, Felicia (Rome) and Alicia Valenzuela; step-children, Ashley, Antonio, and Alejandra; parents, Pisqua & Mary Saenz; sister, Sonia Saenz Ozuna (Chon); maternal grandmother, Angelina C. Gomez and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Although her family lost a loving daughter, sister, mother, wife, and friend; they rejoice knowing she has spread her wings, and has been given a glorious new life. All is well!
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 from 12:00 noon till 6:00 pm at Colonial Funeral Home.
Private funeral services are entrusted to Colonial Funeral Home, 1801 E. Red River Street, Victoria, Texas.
