Vestine William Nesloney, 86, of Victoria passed away April 26, 2019. He was born November 11, 1932, in Pawnee, TX to Frank and Freida Nesloney. He was retired from Don Krueger Construction where he worked as a Superintendent for 35 years. Vestine served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a Methodist. He was a devoted husband, father and “Papatoe”.
He is survived by his son, Jerry Nesloney; sisters, Annie George, Alvina Gustafson, and Mildred Norton; 4 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 1 step-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Nesloney; son, Terry Nesloney; parents; sister, Gladys Schultz; and brothers, Orval Lee, Edwin, and Felix Nesloney.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 9-10 a.m. at John Wesley Methodist Church with a funeral service to begin at 10 a.m. with Pastor Carl Westbrook officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers Ralph Gustafson, Travis Nesloney, Robert George, Richard George, Roger Schultz, and Darrel Mokry.
