Wanda Carter Linville

Wanda Carter Linville, 83, of Victoria passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012. She was born October 12, 1929, in Charco to the late James Oliver and Emily Miller Carter. She was employed as a manager for Maverick Markets for many years. She was a Baptist.

Survivors include her daughter, Judy Linville of Spring; son, Bobby Linville and his wife, Becky, of Victoria; three grandchildren, Austin J. Linville and wife, Heather, Lisa Linville and Lori Linville; and three great-grandchildren, Kayla, Carter and Cooper.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack L. Linville; her son, Jack C. Linville; her sisters, Annie Mae Gerbert, Lucille Williams, Lillian Gips, Bonnie Lee Kenne and Faye Dell Keil; her brother, Oliver Carter.

Visitation will be from 1:30-2:30 pm Saturday, December 15, 2012, at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will begin at 2:30 pm with Rev. Virginia Frnka officiating. Burial will follow at Crescent Valley Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be A. J. Linville, Marlin Frederick, Tim Spong, Walker Clark, Bob Linville and Shannon Osborne.
