Praying for the family.  RIP  Dan & Jacklin McCarn  Jourdanton, TX


Warren H. McCarn was a loving and principled man who valued his family. He lived a notable life, serving his country in the US Navy, achieving great success with RCA through hard work and dedication, and applying those same principles of honor and commitment to his loved ones in the many years that followed. 

His wisdom and values will be deeply missed by the people whose lives he touched. Warren was always willing to engage in meaningful conversations about life and reconnect with those who meant most to him. In a time when many members of older generations lost touch with their children and grandchildren, Warren always kept up to date with our familyhe wrote by email, called by phone, sometimes sent letters in the mail, and we were always glad to hear from him. Warren's class and kindness were exemplary. 

Warren passed away the same way he came into this world: surrounded by love. His grandson was at his side, while those of us who could not be there held him in our hearts and had him on our minds. The final page in his life's story overflowed with peace. He will be missed but never forgotten by anyone who ever knew him. 

Though we are saddened that some of our children did not get to meet him in person before his passing, they will know him from the stories and photos we will share. Even in his last days, Warren joked about how many more kids we were going to have, learning there was one due to come into this world just as he would be leaving it. Hudson Warren Raywood is due this August, and though he will never meet his great-grandpa Warren, we will make sure he knows his great grandfather and learns all the values that Warren H. McCarn modeled for this family during his remarkable and exceptional time here on earth. 

We still carry you in our hearts, Grandpa Warren.

I am surely going to miss my wonderful uncle that I have known all my life.  So many good memories, I can't begin to pick a favorite on.  My dear cousin, Linda, I feel your pain.  Love you bunches!  JoAnn

Jon and I are so blessed to be considered a part of Warren's family. We spent many an hour laughing with our dear Butterfly and ole Horsefly, enjoying life's tender moments, ups and downs, and cherishing life all along the part of "the journey" we shared. And, along that path traveled as friends, our love and adoration for Warren and Dorothy grew. We pray that God will hold Linda and the rest of the family in His comforting embrace as we all celebrate Warren's life. We are all happy that he is no longer suffering, and that his wish to be reunited with his beloved Dorothy has been granted.   With fond regard, Jon and Rhonda Hooper
