

2014. He was born May 15, 1937 in DeLeon, TX to Olan and Edith Brownlee.
After 28 years as a Wildlife Biologist with the Texas Parks and Wildlife, he retired in 1993 and in 1995, they moved back to Victoria where he helped his son-in-law run Ace Locksmith Service.
He was a proud 1965 graduate of Texas A & M University and he served in the U.S. Navy for 3 years and 10 months.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Margaret Foreman Brownlee, his four daughters, Rhonda Hooper (Jon), Monica Strelec (Allan), Kim Gerbino (A.J.), Liz Huff (Nicky) and his mother, Edith Brownlee of DeLeon, TX. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, Nicole and Ted Mitchell (Miles, Max, Mason and Maddox), Justin and Emily Huff (Payton), Jason and Fallon Huff (Bentley, Madelyn, Haley and Brannan), Jerheme and Emily Urban (Liesl, Luke and Barrett), Molly and Brent Jacobson (Reece), Kristi and Billy Bernard (Brynn), Alex Gerbino and
James, Caleb Urban (Baelyn), Austin Strelec and Sydney Gerbino. He is also survived by his brother, Joe Brownlee of
DeLeon, TX; sister, Dolores Cooper of Boyd, TX; brother-inlaw, James Petrash (Lynda) and sister-in-law, Patsy Merrill
(Roland).
He was pre-deceased by his father, Olan Brownlee; twin brother, Sam Brownlee and his lifelong friend, Dennis Brown.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 from 5-6:30 PM at Colonial Funeral Home with a memorial
celebration to begin at 6:30 PM.
Honorary pallbearers will be his son-in-laws and his grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Victoria County 4-H Scholarship Fund.
