William H. Hohlt II

William H. Hohlt, II, 81, of Victoria, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, in Victoria. He was born in Shiner, Texas to William H. and Lucille Fehrenkamp Hohlt, Sr. on November 23, 1944. William met and married the love of his life, Charlene Svatek, and to this union two children were born. William worked as a Manager for Rowan Home Center and Anchor Lumber Yard for many years.

William is preceded in death by his parents.

William is survived by his wife, Charlene Hohlt, sons, Wm. Patrick Hohlt and his wife Kimberly, and Dr. Russell Wade Hohlt and his wife Veronica, grandchildren, Ryan Hohlt, Ashton Hohlt and his wife Amy, Victoria Hohlt, Isabella Hohlt, Wm. Austin Hohlt, and Kayla Sides and her husband Cameron. In addition, he also leaves behind two great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family and friends, all of whom will cherish his memory.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 5-7 pm, immediately followed by reciting of the Rosary at 7 pm, all at Rosewood Funeral Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 10 am at Holy Family Catholic Church with interment immediately following at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.

Honoring him by serving as Pallbearers will be Nephews, Darrell Svatek, Kevin Svatek, Lance Svatek, Stephen Olle, Ty Hendricks, Jack Butler, and serving as Honorary Pallbearer will be Mike Svatek.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be given in his honor to Hospice of South Texas, Holy Family Catholic Church Building Fund, or any Catholic School in Victoria.
