William James McCrary III, age 52, of Victoria, went to be with the Lord on June 3, 2017. Bill was born to William McCrary Jr. and Carolyn McCrary on March 13, 1965. He is survived by his parents; wife, Kathy McCrary; daughter, Taylor McCrary; sister, Debbie Wall (Ray Morais Jr); mother-in-law, Alice Davis; brother-in-law, Bobby (Shelley) Davis; brother in-law, Mark Pekar, and a great number of friends whom he considered a second family. He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Robin Pekar.
Bill graduated from Victoria High School and obtained an associate’s degree from Victoria College. He worked for Formosa Plastics for 23 years and Conoco Phillips for 4 years.
An avid outdoorsman, Bill enjoyed spending his time hunting and fishing. Bill was a man of his word and always put the needs of others before his own. He loved God, family and his country. He was a beloved husband and dedicated father. Words cannot capture the essence of Bill. He was one of a kind.
Bill’s wishes were to be cremated and his ashes scattered where he loved to fish.
