William George Notz

W. George Notz, 60, of Victoria passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2012. He was born on November 13, 1951 in Creston, Iowa to the late William E. Notz and Betty Harpin Bernard of Victoria. George was retired and was an accomplished artist and musician.

Survivors include his mother, Betty H. Bernard, sons, John E. Notz and Dylan O. Notz; sister, Sheri Notz Tschoepe and husband Charlie; brother, Bobby R. Bernard and wife Donna. Also survived by 5 Great Nieces & Nephews that he loved so much: Kelly Tschoepe, Ashlie Tschoepe, Cole Tschoepe, Scarlett Kundla, Vincent Kundla.

George was preceded in death by his father, William E. Notz, step father, Billy Bob Bernard; maternal grandparents, Llyod and Minnie Harpin; paternal grandparents, William and Gladys Notz.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 1 to 3 pm at Colonial Funeral Home with the Funeral Service beginning at 3 pm with Mr. Billy Moeller officiating.

Honorary pallbearers are Billy Moeller, Johnny Pavlicka, Chris Derrig and nephews, Tyson Tschoepe, Jason Tschoepe and Billy Bernard, John Buhler.
