Andree was born on June, 24, 1950, a daughter of her late parents, Loretta Grant and Romeo Lawson; who later met and married her late Stepfather John T. Grant, whom together helped raise Andree and her siblings.
Andree grew up and lived in Los Angeles, California and later graduated from Jefferson High School. Throughout her life she has worked in various job capacities and later met and married Harold "Butch" Simms, September 27, 1986. They have worked and lived together for many years in Apple Valley, California.
Andree was also preceded in death by her husband of many years, Harold Simms; her sister Sandra Yvonne Williams and her nephew Marquise Darnell Ross.
She leaves behind loving memories to be cherished by her loving: sister Charlene and her husband Henry Beckom and her brother Ronald Lawson. Her nephews; Michael and his wife Sherry Williams, Brian and his wife Sheila Beckom, Daryl and his wife Xiomara Beckom; nieces Lisa and her husband Craig Gibson, Nicole and her husband Tyree Long. She is also survived by a host of many great nieces and nephews, one great great nephew, one great great niece and many friends.
