Is home with God, (November 16, 2024), family members, and friends. Her faith in God was always present as she witnessed throughout her lifetime. She was best known for her dedication to her two daughters and the love of her life, Frank Abeyta, and later to her growing family. Her cousins were her best friends growing up and remained that way throughout her life. She was also known for hospitality and giving to those in need never expecting anything back. She loved cooking, especially her tacos, pork chops with green chili, and r chile pequín. Throughout her lifetime she prepared many meals and sent them to family members, friends, and any homeless that came to her door. Giving to charities like “St. Jude”, “Cops for Kids”, and donating to Barstow’s Senior Citizens Store was important. She spent evenings doing crafts such as embroidery with her tias and primas, created art crafts with resin with her cousin Fidel Borruel, made centerpieces/decorations with her brother Mike Aguayo, and taught her girls to decorate cakes. Other pastimes were coloring and watching Mexican and Turkish novelas in Spanish. Her favorites were enchiladas, Starbucks Frappuccinos, Hershey's milk chocolates, caramel soft chews, and loved ice cream any time - any place. She loved dancing and her song “Take Me By The Hand”. Her witty humor popped out of nowhere when least expected. One of her lines when asked, “Did you dream last night?” Her response was, “I didn’t have time because I was sleeping.” Her candor was straightforward and would not beat around the bush. Angelina was a “Force of Nature” considering her small stature, a fierce warrior winning many of life’s physical and emotional battles, and keep going by
the grace of God.
She is survived by her oldest daughter- Rosanna Elgohary, her youngest daughter, Ana Maria Abeyta; Son-in-law and caregiver Aladdin Elgohary; grandchildren- Manolo Borruel, Mark Gonzalez, Angelica Maria Cruz, Ramon Cruz, Ana Crystal Garcia, Felipe Abeyta; Great-Grandchildren: Christina Gonzalez, Isaac Gonzalez, Joaquin Gonzalez, Shania Valdivia, Angeliza Camacho Cruz, Bryson Valdivia, Ramon James Cruz, Frank Borruel, Manolo Borruel Jr., Zelayla Frankie Garcia, Analucia Maria Garcia; Great-Great Grandchildren: Sebastian High, Lennox Thompson, and Riley Marie D’Eath.
