Armando Montes de Oca

Armando Montes De Oca passed away suddenly on March 29th, 2026, at the age of 37. He will be remembered as being a hard working, independent, intelligent, adventurous, kind-hearted, strong, brave, and at times stubborn man. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Although his life was far too short, Armando inspired the lives of those who had the honor to know him. He was responsible, smart, and always had the motivation to figure things out. He enjoyed tech work, computers, video games, pokemon, movies, books, music, venturing out of his comfort zone, and most of all he enjoyed spending time with his wife and kids.

Armando, often referred to as ‘Mondo’, was born on July 27th, 1988 in Los Angeles Ca. Growing up in Long Beach, Ca, as a child, Armando enjoyed catching: lizards, grass hoppers, and beetles; playing with his siblings; climbing up trees, fences, and just about anything; hiding in cabinets; and playing video games. Eventually relocating to Victorville, Ca in 2004, where he would live most of his adult life.

Armando was a great dad who loved his children. Spending time with his kids individually and together as a family was his priority. He never failed at making time for his wife and kids. He enjoyed taking his family out to the beach, the snow, the lake, going out on hikes, going to Disneyland, having movie nights at home, and much more. He was a present dad who attended school events and felt fulfilled with his children. His wife and kids were his pride, joy, and greatest love.

Words cannot express Armando’s character. Armando’s memory will be honored by all of those who loved him. He is survived by his wife, children, parents, and siblings.

Aunque su vida fue demasiado breve, Armando inspiró las vidas de aquellos que tuvieron el honor de conocerlo. Era responsable, astuto y siempre tenía la motivación para encontrar soluciones a los problemas. Disfrutaba del trabajo tecnológico, las computadoras, los videojuegos, el pokemon, las películas, los libros, la música, salir de su zona de confort y, sobre todo, disfrutaba pasar tiempo con su esposa e hijos.

Armando, mas conocido como ‘Mondo’, nació el 27 de Julio de 1988 en Los Ángeles, California. Al crecer en Long Beach, California, durante su infancia, Armando disfrutaba capturar lagartijas, chapulines, y mayates; jugar con sus hermanos; trepar árboles, cercas y casi cualquier cosa; esconderse en los armarios; y jugar videojuegos. Finalmente, se mudó a Victorville, California, en 2004, lugar donde viviría la mayor parte de su vida adulta.

Armando fue un gran padre que amaba a sus hijos. Pasar tiempo con sus hijos, tanto individualmente y juntos en familia— era su prioridad. Nunca dejó de sacar tiempo para su esposa y sus hijos. Disfrutaba llevar a su familia a la playa, a la nieve, al lago, salir de caminata, ir a Disneyland, organizar noches de cine en casa y mucho más. Fue un padre presente que asistía a los eventos escolares y se sentía realizado junto a sus hijos. Su esposa e hijos eran su orgullo, su alegría, y su amor más grande.

Las palabras no bastan para describir el carácter de Armando. La memoria de Armando será honrada por todos aquellos que lo amaron. Le sobreviven su esposa, sus hijos, sus padres, y sus hermanos.
