Bartolo Ruiz

Bartolo Ruiz (73) of Victorville, California passed away on April 21,2026 while our hearts are carrying the weight of the loss, we also rest in the process of God's Word. “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance”. Ecc. 3:1-4 NKJV

He was born on February 2, 1953, in Aguililla, Michoacan to Pedro Ruiz and Julia Villa Avila (Santos) Melgoza. From an early age Bartolo Ruiz showed a spirit of kindness, determination and a faith shaping life that would touch his children & many others. He had an unforgettable & contagious smile that will be missed dearly. He dedicated his life to working hard to support his family so that they would not live a tough life. Bartolo Ruiz found joy in serving others, road tripping / traveling outdoors with his family and providing the best life to his children reminding them of the beauty of everyday life. As Psalms 34:18 NIV states “The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

He is survived by his children Lupe, Juan, and Carolina Ruiz, his grandsons Miguel & Anthony Ruiz, His adopted son Manuel Mendoza along with his siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is proceeded in death by his wife Evangelina Ruiz, his daughter Veronica Maldonado along with his parents, and siblings.

Though we grieve we hold tightly to HOPE: “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.” John 11:25 NKJV. A funeral / memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, starting at 10:30am @ Holy Innocents Catholic Church 13230 El Evado Rd. Victorville, Ca 92392. All who knew and loved Bartolo Ruiz are welcome to attend and celebrate a life that will never be forgotten. “And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4 NKJV

Bartolo Ruiz nació el 2 de febrero de 1953 en Aguililla, Michoacán, hijo de Pedro Ruiz y Julia Villa Ávila (Santos) Melgoza. Desde temprana edad, Bartolo Ruiz mostró un espíritu de bondad, determinación y una fe que moldeó su vida y tocó a sus hijos y a muchos más. Tenía una sonrisa inolvidable y contagiosa que será profundamente extrañada. Dedicó su vida a trabajar arduamente para apoyar a su familia y asegurar que no tuvieran una vida difícil. Bartolo Ruiz encontraba alegría en servir a los demás, a viajar por carretera y disfrutar de la naturaleza con su familia, y brindar la mejor vida posible a sus hijos, recordándoles la belleza de la vida cotidiana. Como dice el Salmo 34:18 (NVI): “El Señor está cerca de los quebrantados de corazón y salva a los de espíritu abatido.”

Le sobreviven sus hijos Lupe, Juan y Carolina Ruiz; sus nietos Miguel y Anthony Ruiz; su hijo adoptivo Manuel Mendoza; así como sus hermanos, tías, tíos, sobrinas y sobrinos y primos. Le precedieron en la muerte su esposa Evangelina Ruiz, su hija Verónica Maldonado, así como sus padres y hermanos. Aunque estamos de duelo, nos aferramos firmemente a la ESPERANZA: “Yo soy la resurrección y la vida; el que cree en mí, aunque esté muerto, vivirá.” Juan 11:25 (RVR)

Se llevará a cabo un servicio fúnebre/memorial el miércoles 13 de mayo de 2026 a partir de las 10:30 a.m. en la Iglesia Católica Holy Innocents, 13230 El Evado Rd, Victorville, CA 92392. Todos los que conocieron y amaron a Bartolo Ruiz están cordialmente invitados a asistir y celebrar una vida que nunca será olvidada. “Enjugará Dios toda lágrima de los ojos de ellos; y ya no habrá muerte, ni habrá más llanto, ni clamor, ni dolor; porque las primeras cosas pasaron.” Apocalipsis 21:4 (RVR)

Por siempre amado, por siempre extrañado y por siempre en el cuidado de Dios.
