May 25, 1926 – December 17, 2024
Blanca Kluge, 98, of San Bernardino County, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2024. Born on May 25, 1926, in Colombia, South America, to Emilio and Carmen Murillo.
Blanca’s life was one of faith, family, and devotion.
Blanca moved to the United States in 1968 and settled in Los Angeles County, where she lived for 11 years. In 1979, she married her beloved husband, George Kluge, and moved to San Bernardino County, where she shared 37 years of marriage. George was her love, until his passing in 2016.
Before meeting George, Blanca had a daughter, Blanca Patricia, who now resides in France. She was also the proud grandmother of four grandchildren and three great-granddaughters. Her nephew, Mauricio, was like a son to her, and she was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Blanca worked at The Bank of America from 1979 to 1993, as the Head Teller for her branch, where her sharp mind and attention to detail earned her the respect of her colleagues and community.
Outside of her professional life, Blanca was deeply involved in her faith and community. She was an active member of Holy Innocents Church, where she volunteered her time and talents. Blanca had a passion for knitting and created beautiful blankets, which she would sell at the church to support various causes.
Blanca was also an animal lover, especially fond of her 10-year-old Chihuahua, Ginger, whom she adored and spoiled. Her kindness, warmth, and sense of humor made her a beloved figure to all who knew her.
Blanca’s family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Holy Innocents Church, where she was a dedicated and loving member.
Blanca will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. A private ceremony will be held to honor her life and memory.
Rest in peace, Blanca. Your legacy of love, faith, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by you.
