Charme Rae Hayes

April 16, 1947 – July 19, 2026

Charme Rae Hayes passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026, at the age of 79.

Charme found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved gardening, especially tending to her beautiful tea roses, which reflected the care, patience, and beauty she brought into the world. She also cherished quiet evenings watching the Dodgers with her beloved husband, Greg, with whom she shared 56 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless treasured memories. Charme also adored her faithful Jack Russell Terrier, Jack, whose companionship brought her endless happiness and comfort.

Above all, Charme's greatest gift was the love she shared with her family. Her kindness, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to bloom in the hearts of those she held dear.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Greg Hayes; her daughter, Mindy Reed; her son, Matt Hayes; her daughter-in-law, Teresa Hayes; brother Bill Loar; sister-in-law Brenda Loar; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was deeply loved and will be forever missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Though she is no longer with us, Charme's love, warmth, and beautiful spirit will remain with us always.

A Graveside Service will be held at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518, US, on July 31, 2026, from 9:45 am to 10:15 am.
