Crispulo, or “Cris” to his friends, is survived by wife Nancy and four loving children: Crisenda, Jesse, Marites, and Joel. He also had six adoring grandchildren: Jestus, Alyssa, Kayla, Christian, Isabella, and Walker. He is also survived by companion Amanda Guzman.
Crispulo is a veteran of both the Korean and Vietnam conflicts where he served proudly in the Navy, achieving the rank of Steward Petty Officer First Class after a career that spanned from 1954 to 1974. He received multiple Good Conduct awards, the Combat Action Ribbon and the Navy Unit Commendation. He also served a long second career as a chef at George AFB prior to his retirement in 1984.
Crispulo‘s experience in the Navy was very important to him, traveling and stationing him in such diverse places as Italy, Cuba, Japan, Hawaii, the Eastern Seaboard and his native Philippines. His great passion for gardening was well known to all.
On December 10th at 11 a.m. an outdoor mass will be held at Our Lady of the Desert in Apple Valley, CA. A private military burial will take place at Desert View Memorial Park in Victorville, CA at 1 p.m. Masks & Social Distancing are required.
Crispulo's final wishes: “Be kind to one another” and any monetary donations be given to the Navy-Marine Corp. Relief Society.
