Cynthia Moreno, 74, passed away on October 13, 2026. Born December 23, 1951, in North Carolina, and raised in Phoenix AZ by Joe and Nellie Larranaga. Cynthia moved to California in 1985 and currently lived in Hesperia, California.
Throughout her life, Cynthia was deeply beloved and truly cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her. She carried a kind heart that showed itself in quiet, steady ways, and her warmth left people feeling seen and cared for. With an adventurous spirit, she enjoyed playing bingo and going on trips to the casinos in Vegas and Laughlin with friends. Cynthia’s gentle humor brought lightness and comfort—often at just the right moment. Cynthia enjoyed watching her 5 boys play sports throughout their childhood and continued that tradition enjoying her grandkids playing the sports they loved. Cynthia was survived by her sons Michael, Manuel, Marc, Max and daughter Cynthia, 22 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren, she was meant in heaven by her son Maurice, her father Joe, brother Joey and sister Diana.
Cynthia will be remembered with respect, gratitude, and enduring affection. Her presence, her laughter, and her steadfast kindness remain a lasting gift to all who loved her.
A viewing will be held at Desert View Funeral Home 11478 Amargosa Rd, Victorville, CA 92392 on Thursday, November 5th 5pm to 9pm. A religious service will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church 9974 I Ave, Hesperia, CA 92345 on Friday, November 6th 12:30pm to 1:30pm. A graveside service will follow at Desert View Memorial Park at 2pm.
