Dale Leon Sharp

Dale Leon Sharp, age 89, of 5315 Lone Pine Canyon Road, Wrightwood, CA, passed April 6, 2017. He was born in Reeds Spring, Mo. On February 18, 1928. Dale married his high school sweetheart, Marie Rose, in 1946 while they were attending high school in Branson, Mo. He later received his GED plus several certificates of completion for professional courses related to his jobs. His Son, Ronald was born in 1948. The family relocated from Missouri to West Covina, CA in 1952, where they resided until they divorced. Dale married Jacqulyn E. Davis on March 17, 1979 and moved to La Verne, CA. After they retired they had a home built in Wrightwood, CA where they lived until Jacqulyn passed in 2006. Dale continued to live there until shortly before his death when he moved to Lancaster, CA to be cared for by his Son, Ronald. Dale peacefully passed April 6. Dale had a career as a veterinary and pharmaceutical field representative for Purina and Wyeth Laboratories until he retired in 1987. He was a member of THE UNITED LUMBEE NATION (a sovereign Indian Nation) of North Carolina and America, and had a passion for Native American and sporting memorabilia. His hobbies included hunting and fishing and collecting various sporting items. He is survived by his Son, Ronald Dale Sharp of Lancaster, CA, and Stepdaughters Stephanie Stewart of Hillsboro, OR., Pam Nava of Phoenix, AZ, Sandy Oberhansli of Claremore, OK, ; Grandchildren Randy and Ryan Sharp; Stepgrandchildren Holly, Heath, Laurel, Mallory, Matthew, Joseph; Greatgrandchildren Ashley and Riley Sharp; Stepgreatgrandchildren Aaron, Ashley, Jackie, Navaeh, Ev, Jackson, and 11 nieces and nephews. Brother and Sisters: Kenneth Sharp, Wanda Collins, Virginia Shults, and Constance (Connie) Carpenter. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Friday April 14, 2017 at Desert View Memorial Park, Victorville, CA.
