My uncle David or should I say the amazing Ben Q . I will miss you so much growing up you did so much for me you was always there for me. I have so many memories of us on 81st every Saturday morning you, me and Lamar cracking jokes on each other,  wrestling and tearing up the house. When I got older we worked together and lived together I will miss our phone conversation I can hear it now it went like this ( hey red everyone ok , I reply yeah unk how you doing  he would reply I’m ok I would say that’s good then he would say  I love red I would say I love too) and that was it lol I love you so much I  will miss you and I love you.

If you look up Cool in a dictionary it will have a picture of my pops and my uncle David growing up we didn’t want to be like Mike we wanted to be like Uncle David he gave me my first car 69 Rivera and my first members only jacket and a pair of Biscuits and is partially responsible for the Swag I carry around daily.Rest in peace Uncle . Thanks for being a best friend, brother-in-law, and loving me like a brother. I love you too! I could always count on you to have my back as I've had yours, you introduced me to the love of trucking.

I will miss the fun times but will always cherish the memories.

Thanx for being a part of my life, I often think of the Good Times we shared, and the patience you taught me. Drive On Big Wheel, see ya the next time Good Buddy!

I will really miss the bright smile that made my day; it's hard to believe that you are no more amongst us. And I won't get those calls saying Hey just checking up on you Tutz, Even if it was only for 3 minutes, it'll last with me for a lifetime, I pray that your soul rests in peace. Uncles have a special role. Not being our father, they can be a friend and a supporter in a different way than anyone else in our lives. They are both a relative and a companion; one of the few people able to be both. Whether they are crazy and weird and only seen at holidays or just coming over to watch  Black panther on the projector,  As if he's never seen it before. I remember watching uncle David and aunt Mary play scrabble all day while me, and Javon would sit outside eating hot Cheetos and pickles! I feel so blessed to have been able to spend last Thanksgiving with him,  and him spending time with my kid's on their birthdays meant the world to me those are some of the memories I have with My Uncle David, the loss of an uncle is a particularly hard one. The loss, however, is filled with the years of happy memories we had, and that special connection that belongs only to uncles.

Uncle David,

From the moment I came into this world, I was blessed with one of the greatest uncles anyone has ever had. You're selfless, kind, caring, and one of a kind, you will truly be missed. Some of the things I remember most, is your laugh, sitting with you at breakfast, and your love for star trek. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you, sometimes I take a moment to reflect on growing up, and hanging with you, my auntie Mary and cousin Jevon, for a lot of people, it's always hard to say goodbye, but to me, this isn't goodbye it's "see you later tuts". I know that you are up there watching over us and continuing to guide us through our unfinished journeys.. You finished yours, you finished the rat race we call life. I miss you. I love you..
