Dearest Rita & Family,

It is with a heavy heart I send my deepest condolences in the loss of your sister, I just found out yesterday and was in a state of disbelief.

She was an incredibly kind and caring person, always had a smile on her face even when she was hurting, she found laughter in everything. 

 We would text each other often just to check in on each other or she would simply tell me to take care of myself.  Our last communication was on Easter Sunday.  Having sent several texts after that and not getting a response was alarming and now, I know why.
 
I will miss my friend and am so grateful we maintained contact for the last several years.

I have written once before, but unsure the note was submitted.
I have been trying to reach Delores by phone and text to no avail. It was then I shockingly discovered her obituary.
I want to extend to you, the family, my sincere heartfelt condolences.  
I have known 
Delores for 50 years and have always valued her friendship. We've had many fun times. 

I would greatly appreciate a call from one of the family, so I could personally extend my deepest sympathy.

I wanted to let you know that I am sorry for your loss. She was a great friend of mine for the last 20+ years. I just found out today that Dolores had passed away. I had sent her a message, and when she did not respond I called her cell phone, but it was disconnected. May God, give you comfort during this difficult time, and know she will be missed.

Rita, I was so sorry to hear about Dolores’s passing. Over these past few years we had recently reconnected on Facebook  and texted each other frequently ,  the last being on Easter.  She was such a sweet and beautiful soul and I will miss her.
We were hoping to visit each other but sadly that will never happen. 
I was also hoping to make it to her service but my husband was just released from the hospital yesterday and I can’t be left alone.
Just know that I will be there in spirit.

My cousin Dolo (as we called her) was an amazing, funny, jolly person who always had a big smile on her face. We were 2 years a part but always had fun as kids. She was always out to have fun and I remember the night we snuck out her bedroom window so we could hang out with our other cousins who lived across the street. I don’t remember if we got caught but she was all about having fun. I remember her playing her accordion as a kid and she was pretty good. As we got older we didn’t see each other for years but when we did talk it was like no time had passed at all. I will miss her phone calls and our texts at holidays or just to say hello and send hugs. She always sent hugs to my dad and we will love and miss her always.
