He was born to Thomas and Francis Kotwica on March 29, 1928 in Oil City, Pennsylvania . He proudly served in the United States Army and fought in the Korean War. Edward then married Anna Malvaso on February 23, 1957 and had three children Thomas (Terri) , Edward Jr, and Teresa. He is survived by his children, grandchildren; Edward III, Krysta (Deven) Jameson, Robert Lutz, Elizabeth Lutz; and great grandchildren(3), as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by both of his loving parents; his wife; his siblings, Lottie, Bernice, and Tony; and granddaughter Sarah Kotwica.
He was a very loving and supportive husband to wife Anna, whom he called "princess". He was a great father who was always there when anyone needed him.
The funeral for Edward Anthony Kotwica Sr will be on November 1, 2021 at 2pm at the Riverside National Cemetery.
