To All,

I am Ed's second born son. It warms my heart to see all the kind words from friends and family alike. I am visiting his grave today for the first time since we put him in the ground, reading through all the kindness you all have shared, and most importantly remembering the man himself. You all couldn't be more correct, he was always ready to lend a hand, he'd give you the shirt off his back If you asked him nicely, and was always willing to spread the wealth of knowledge he had to all those willing to listen. Though for a long time I had a hard time listening. It's one of the saddest things I will ever type, he is gone from this world, but the influence he had on all of us will ring on for generations to come. He was always teaching us, particularly Adam and I, and I'd like to believe that him passing was the final test. Remember all that he taught you, and more importantly, spread that knowledge to the ones you love.

Ed was a great older brother to me. He teased a bit but was careful not to over do it. He shared personal struggles in his life which always made me feel like he valued our relationship. He never was a bully to me. He would share his opinions but never made me feel like I had to agree with him, although many times I did because he was very level headed. He was in general just a very nice person who was always looking after others.

Ed was a great guy, he was always in a good mood and encouraged me to become a pilot.  He will be sorely missed, much love.

Thanks Ed for good times at work! Ed schooled me on lots of good stuff, great working with him on deployment sites and at home. Ed always had good conversations especially when it dealt about life in general. Learned lots from this awesome guy and I know that his family can say the same. You and your family will always be in my prayers. Much Love.

Thanks Ed!  It was great knowing someone who not only did good work but really "cared" about what he was doing.  You will be missed my friend.

Ed was one of the good guys, very smart and super friendly...always ready to lend a hand. I know he always left a positive impact wherever he worked because many of the soldiers I've work with overseas always asked if I knew him, and then added how much they liked him and how much they learned from him. I'll always remember his laugh, larger than life. Rest in peace Ed, you will be missed.

The days that we spent together rarely felt like work. Ed had a way making the most confusing work related problem seem like a fun, easy game to figure out. Each issue overcame was a lesson learned. Then it would be time to celebrate with corny jokes that if Ed told them, would still be funny. I feel fortunate that I was able to spend the time that I spent with Ed. I will miss him.

  Ed was a senior Technician that showed me that it could be done when I was  support tech. I work with Ed at few deployment sites and I learned a lot from him. He was a teacher and a mentor to me. I miss him already. Ed, please watch over our Avionics family.

Ed was always fun to be around and his love for aviation was great. He would always give as much heck as he got from me. He will be missed and Thanks Ed for all that you did for me.

Ed was a great man.
I enjoyed his company as a mentor, co-worker and a friend. He was very passionate about aircraft and I will miss the conversations and stories.

I enjoyed working with Ed, he will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Ed was a great guy, with alot of knowledge that will be missed. Rest is Peace Ed. You will never be forgotten.

We had some fun times at ft hood. Ed always had good advice ready for me when I needed it. I always wanted to provide him the same kindness, but he always seemed to want to give it rather than take it. I'll always remember Ed for his ability to lighten the mood in any situation. You will be missed and always remembered Ed.

I worked with Ed and always enjoyed his wisdom and knowledge. He played a huge part in the success of E/227 AVN and he will be missed. Rest in peace Ed and thank you for all that you have done for us.

Ed was one of the good ones. The thing I'll remember most about Ed wasn't that he was great at his job - he was among the best - it was that he was a good man. So kind and friendly. Prayers for his family. Blue skies and soft landings, Ed.

Ed was such a great guy. Always smiles and laughter. It was always fun to work with Ed. I am saddened that I won't have the opportunity again. God bless ya Ed!!! I will truly miss you.

Ed and I worked together several times. We became friends and remain so. I will miss him.
