

Francisco Javier Gonzalez, lovingly known as "Pancho", passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026. Born on November 27, 1959 he was best known for his compassion and generosity to others, his energy and hard work, and his wonderful sense of humor. He touched many lives and will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
Those left to mourn his passing include his loving wife, Jeri Hartman-Gonzalez; his daughter, Myra Lloyd; and his granddaughter, Alannah Ortiz. He is also survived by his sisters: Ester Minjarez (Rolo), Lupe Garcia, Carmen Cardon (Leonard), Jackie Galvan (Pete), Blanca Gonzalez-Pryor (Craig), Fatima Ray (Jimmy), and Teresita Corral (Carlos); and his brothers: George Gonzalez, Gerardo Gonzalez (Lucinda), and Juan Diego Gonzalez (Fred). He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nehews, extended family members, and dear friends who will cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Maria Patrocinio Rios de Gonzalez and Ignacio "Nacho" Gonzalez; his brothers, Sergio "Nacho" Gonzalez and David Gonzalez; his sister Valentina Hernandez; and his nephew, Army Cpl. Jesse M. Zamora.
A memorial service will be held at The Road Church of Antelope Valley located at 5837 Columbia Way, Quartz Hill, CA 93536 on Saturday September 5, 2026 at 10:00am.
A rosary and mass will be held at the Basilica of San Albino located at 2070 Calle De Santiago, Mesilla, NM 88046 on Wednesday September 16, 2026 at 11:00am.
