I am so deeply saddened to hear of Pancho’s passing. He was our “bug guy” at Edwards AFB from 2018–2022, but to me, he was so much more than that.

Pancho was one of the kindest, most warm-hearted people I had the pleasure of knowing. Every time he stopped by our house, what should have been a quick visit usually turned into us sitting and talking for a good 30 minutes. He would always greet me with his familiar, “Hey, kid,” and then we’d catch up on life.

More than anything, I remember how much he talked about his family. It was so clear how deeply he loved and adored them. He would share stories about them and talk about how much he was looking forward to retirement and spending more time with the people he loved.

My heart hurts knowing he didn’t get more of that time.

I’m sending so much love to Pancho’s family during this incredibly difficult time. I hope there is some comfort in knowing that he touched so many lives here at Edwards, even those of us who only knew him through the everyday moments. He was the kind of person you remembered because of how he made you feel, and I know I will always remember hearing, “Hey, kid,” and knowing I was about to spend the next half hour talking with a genuinely good human being.

Rest easy, Pancho. You will be deeply missed.

Pancho, you will be deeply missed. I thank God for the time we shared and for all your advice, laughs, and encouragement. You were a wonderful brother and such a great uncle. Your love, laughter, and memory will live on in our hearts forever.  

Until we meet again, Pancho. Rest peacefully knowing you were deeply loved and will never be forgotten. ❤️

I send my regards to the family. I hope knowing how many peoples lives Pancho changed in a positive way brings you comfort during this difficult time. I encountered Pancho numerous times during our time at Edwards Air Force Base.  We lived in base housing, and let’s just say a lot of bugs! The only positive part of the bugs was Pancho! I loved interacting with him and hearing all about his family. Pancho was especially helpful in helping us get our kitchen demoed because he showed up 5 times and the bugs were still coming - without him we would have been in a mess. I shortly went into cancer treatment shortly after and Panchos smile and great attitude always helped me on those tougher days. I know that myself and many other spouses of Edwards AFB really appreciated Pancho and are so lucky we were able to know him.

From your cousin victor santana, Pancho you will missed rip cousin I love you, thanks for all the fun times.

My sincere condolences to Jeri. Although, I never had the pleasure to meet Pancho in person, I could always tell by Jeri's posts and smiles, that she was extremely happy being with him. I am so sorry that their earthly time together  was cut so short, as they started their retirement years and dreams. May God comfort all who knew and loved him.

Oh, Pancho, I have so many memories of you helping with Confirmation classes, when I was so green as a coordinator, your help and love was invaluable to me. Rest in peace, my friend.
