George Lawrence Singleton

Hesperia, California. George was born July 19, 1935 in Los Angeles,

California to Georgia Alice Singleton and Lawrence Joseph Singleton.

George was the third child of their six children.

George served in the United States Army. He worked at Weber's Bread in

Glendale, California until retirement. George enjoyed construction

projects at home or when helping a friend or neighbor. He had a passion

for gardening; always experimenting with uncommon plants for the desert

climate.

Those who knew George will remember him as a family man, shaped by work

ethics and integrity - someone who met responsibilities with diligence

and approached life with straightforward honesty in both ordinary

moments and life's more difficult seasons.

George's generosity was not performative; it was consistent and sincere,

live on in the lives he touched. George is survived by his wife Elizabeth, daughter Michele, sons Maurice, George Jr., Kevin,

grandchildren Marie, Paige, Sarah, Gavin, Logan, and great-grandchildren.
