He is preceded in death by his wife Joan. They were married for 65 years.
He is survived by his sister, Margo Sands, 3 children, Rhonda Lugo, Skye Hill and Clay Waegerle. He leaves behind 5 grandchildren, Michael Waegerle, Chance Turner, Gabriel Lugo, Uriah Lugo and Elijah Lugo and one he will meet again in heaven, Chad Waegerle. Also 15 great grandchildren.
George was born in Medford Wisconsin, moved to CA when he was still a teen. He started working at Riverside Cement, but put that on hold and joined the Marines in 1956. He was honorably discharged in 1960 with the rank of Corporal. He then went back to work for Riverside Cement Co and retired as Kiln Foreman after 44 years of hard work and dedication.
Our dad will be remembered as being quiet and kind. A hard worker and a wonderful father. He will be missed deeply.
