Born in Montebello, CA in 1952, Greg was the youngest of three boys, each ten years apart in age. He resided with his parents, John and Rosa, until he married Maureen in 1988. Greg was on the UCLA gymnastic team throughout college and achieved great reward as a UCLA gymnast.
Known for his quick wit and consistent stream of jokes, he always sought to bring joy to others through laughter. Many were uplifted through his “joke of the day” texts. As word caught on, the list grew and numerous others asked to be added to this daily text message.
Greg was well-loved by his wife, Maureen, of thirty-eight years. He leaves behind five children, and four grandsons who lovingly call him, “Paca.”
A rosary will be said on Greg’s behalf at 9:30AM at Holy Family Catholic Church with the funeral service to follow at 10AM. The burial will take place at Noon at Desert View Memorial Park.
