Mr. Koop was born in Mitchell, South Dakota and lived in the High Desert since 1965.
He was formerly in the US Air Force, worked as a Jet Engine Mechanic, was a California Highway
Patrolman, and also a Truck Driver before he retired.
Mr. Koop is survived by his 2 daughters, Vicki Petersen of Murrieta and Rhonda Allen of Apple Valley, as
well as his Partner, Deborah Bynum of Phelan, 5 Grandchildren & 7 Great Grandchildren.
Graveside Service will be officiated by our brother and Reverend Wendell Morton at 10am Tuesday
6/11/2024 at Desert View Memorial Park, Victorville, CA, where he will be cremated and buried with his
wife Barbara "Bobbie" Koop, who passed away on 11/23/1989.
