Isabel Reyes

Isabel Reyes, beloved sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home in Victorville, CA on May 16, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 5, 1940 in Nieves, Zacatecas, Mexico, to Genaro Gallardo and Sebastiana Medina.

Isabel's life was a testament to love, strength, and enduring devotion. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Agustin Reyes, with whom she shared nearly 60 years of marriage. Together, they built a beautiful family and a lifetime of memories. Isabel is survived by her children Agustin Jr, Irma, Francisco, and Sylvia. Her beloved grandchildren Anthony, Alana, Lorena, Gloria, Stevie, Steven, Josie, Jayden, and Justine. She also leaves behind 5 great-grandchildren, Ricardo, Ryder, Gwendolyn, Olive, and Roman, and with one more on the way.

Her family was her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Isabel was a Devout Catholic who found solace and comfort in her spiritual beliefs. In her free time, Isabel enjoyed cooking delicious meals, shopping, and spending quality time with her family. She cherished the companionship of her loyal dog Luna, who brought her joy and comfort.

Those who knew Isabel will remember her as a strong-willed, courageous, and nurturing woman. She was a keeper of traditions and her cooking recipes, ensuring that family, culture, and heritage were preserved and passed down through the generations. Her love for her family knew no bounds, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A visitation for Isabel will be held Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Victor Valley, 15609 11th Street, Victorville, CA 92392.

A Rosary will be held the following day

May 31st, 2024 at noon, and service at 12:30 PM at St Joan Of Arc Church at 15512 6th St, Victorville, CA 92395. Gravesite will follow at 1:45 at Victor Valley Memorial Park,15609 Eleventh St, Victorville, CA 92395.
