If you knew Jackie, you knew her smile. You knew her laugh, her sweet accent, and her joyful spirit that could brighten even the hardest days. She had a way of making people feel like family, never meeting a stranger and making friends wherever she went. Whether it was through a conversation, a joke that made everyone laugh, or simply the kindness she showed. Jackie had a gift for making people feel seen, loved, and welcome.
Her greatest joy in life was her family. Jackie was a devoted wife, a loving mother, loving sister and the most wonderful Granny to her grandchildren.
She loved listening to music, especially the oldies and the timeless worship hymns that she knew by heart. Even in her final days, you could almost always find her listening to her favorite CDs. She was a huge Kentucky Wildcats basketball fan. Always cheering on the Big Blue!
Hallmark movies were her all time favorite!
Her faith wasn’t something she kept to herself, she loved telling others about God and sharing the hope she had in Him. There is great comfort in knowing that Jackie is in the arms of the Lord, whole and healed and reunited with her beloved husband, Doyle, and with the family who went Home before her. In accordance with her wishes, Jackie’s urn will be placed beside her beloved husband, Doyle, in Kentucky. Where they will be together once again.
Jackie was deeply loved. She will be forever missed, and always remembered.
