

James Robert Brinsky, aged 55, a resident of Victorville, California, passed away on March 29, 2025. In his final moments, he was surrounded by the comforting presence of his devoted wife and daughter. Born on September 9th, 1969, in Illinois, James was a kind, hardworking, and loving man, devoted to his family and friends. He was a passionate provider who would do anything for his wife and children, and his love for them knew no bounds.
James proudly served in the Navy for 6 years, worked at Fort Irwin in Barstow for 13 years, and later spent 18 years working as an electronic technician and sound mechanic at Disneyland, where his sharp mind and dedication shone. Outside of work, James was a true movie fanatic, comic book lover, and connoisseur of sci-fi films, video games, and Dungeons and Dragons. He shared his love of trains with his father and later passed it on to his granddaughter, Charlotte. He found joy in family vacations, theme parks, classic rock, binging long TV shows, and indulging in his favorite foods. Above all, he treasured his time with his wife, Josie, his children, his grandchildren, and even his late dog, Foxy.
James was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, father-in-law, uncle, and grandfather. He leaves behind his wife, Josie; daughter, Jasmine; son, Jerrome; their spouses, Donte and Ferly; grandchildren Jared, Kaeleigh, Jayden, Jesselle, Juliyannah, Brylee, BryBry, and Charlotte; and his sisters, Michelle and Susan. He was preceded in death by his son, Bryan; his parents, James and Mary; his brother, Todd; and his sister, Donna.
A celebration of James’s life will be held on April 16th, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at Desert View Memorial Park in Victorville, California.
James will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew him.
