I was a correctional officer who worked with Llieutenant Jeff Dumeng at MDC Los Angeles.  He was such a great guy. He was always nice, even tempered, was a great instructor, and a tremendous human being. We even attended the Angles/Yankees game in Anaheim together, with our spouses. We had a great time together enjoying some cold beverages, lol. 🍻 I will always remember Jeff and will never forget the impact he had on my life. 🙏🏻 ❤️

Jeff my brother I am stunned and morn your passing! We spoke about so many things over the years.  Family first.....agency brothers and sisters next! Of shooting and guns, tactics....Teaching what we know, to others....Bringing up the next generation and making them better! My friend my brother..... I will miss you profoundly!

I met Lt. Jeff  Dumeng over 9 years ago in downtown LA when he was my supervisor. I still remember his first words to me, “What up kid?  What do you want to learn, killa?” He was a great leader and brother... always willing to teach me something new and I was fortunate to work many shifts with him. I know he is watching over all his brothers as they perform their duties, and he will be missed!

 Jeffrey will always be considered one of my brothers!   He was an inspiration not only to me but the rest of our class 609 ICE academy .  He was the definition of hard charger.  Never Fail, Never Give Up, GET SOME! Was our motto. Jeffrey never gave up even when he injured his calf, he powered through all of it.  Jeffrey you will always be missed. I am proud to have called you a friend and Brother.  God Bless You, prayers for your family.  Love ya Jeff.

Thank you unc for being there for me on my special day . Came all the way from Cali to Florida to witness me get married. I made sure I was there for your 50th birthday last year . I remember the day before I got married I was telling you how I might move to Cali and you told me don’t do it. You said I’m good where I’m at in NYC and what I’d be doing in Cali I could already do here . But you said if that’s the path I want to take then go for it. I took your advice and got my own place not far from home. You always taught me new things every time I saw you and it wasn’t often so any knowledge I could gain from you I took it. Thank you again for all that you’ve done for our family . Love you unc . 

My Brother Jeff....I don’t even know how to start, as I am in so disbelief and shattered...😔  All I know is when we met over 10 years ago, we immediately clicked like brothers. It was not only a Joy knowing you, but it was a Great Honor to have worked side by side with you, as you were always that calming presence with incredible knowledge.   I Will Forever Miss You...You will always be my Brother...May you Rest  in Peace and continue to look over your family..

When I got to Victorville you one of the first  persons I met. I joined the Sort team trained with you  and hung out , I will always  remember when we had to do a run you always had your phrase you would shout  (Yo Hurry Up )I hated it . I am going to Miss you Brother. 


What can I say, but that I’m still in disbelief. I’m mad at myself for not keeping in touch as much as I should and could have. So, I guess I should start off by saying I’m sorry for that brotha. I do want you to know that I will be forever grateful for your friendship, knowledge, dedication, and for all the brotherly love and advice. You will be missed but not forgotten. Rest easy brotha, and like you would say,  see you later KID. Our thoughts and prayers will always be with you and your family. 


You will always be remember brother, thank you for the great memories back at FCC Victorville. 


I, first met Diesel while he was my shift Lt at USP Victorville.  I will alway remember you Jeff. I enjoyed working with you and sharing stories from our time in the Marine Corps. Semper Fi brother. May you Rest In Peace and save a spot on guard duty in heaven for me.

It still does not feel real. Your guidance and leadership will be missed. I am going to miss all of our talks about the families, New York, and life in general. My little Brother Jeffrey, we grow up at 813 Faile Street, then we became a part of Freshville. We were more than neighbors we were family. I was your big sis and you were my little brother. As were all your brothers and sister. You were so happy always and had such an amazing heart. Near or far we knew we will always be family. I’m so proud of all your amazing accomplishments and you will be greatly missed. Sleep in Peace my brother. I love you and you will be missed!!!
