I was married to John for several years. We still talked here and there occasionally but it has been a few years. I was stepmom to Ruben, Tony and Dawn Marie. I had two children also, Steve and Michelle.  I am so shocked to see that he passed. I’m glad to see he finally found the right woman to settle down with! RIP John ❤️

This one is hard for me because I had so much respect for John. I've known John for just over 10 yrs, worked for him at a couple of different outfits including his son Tonys' Company. The first time John called me a certain "phrase", I was a little offended, then someone explained, That's his way of saying your one of his. John called it as it was, no B.S. about it. People say he would give you the shirt off his back is an undercover.  John was the guy if you worked hard for him, then he would enjoy some of your company at the end of a long day.  I have all kinds of stories to tell about John, some good, some bad, and some that are just down right hilarious.  Thanks John for for just keeping it real, and the good conversations.  Hammer Down Driver, That ain't no hill for a climber like you Sir. God Bless! 

I worked for John at GTL for many years as a tanker yanker. John knew what he was doing he knew the petroleum business like the back of his hand it seemed to come natural for him. John kept us all pretty busy sometimes too busy, there were times I was so tired I'd pray that my truck would breakdown so I could take a nap,lol!! What amazed me most about John was the fact that no matter how tired you were he could always get another load out of you. I came to work one night looked at my dispatch and just about fainted when I saw how many loads he gave me and I asked him how was I supposed to get all of them done and he told me what he always said ,"one foot in front of the other."  This might sound kind of goofy but the one thing that he would always say when we came in tired and walking into dispatch office,"Doin a Fine Job !!!!!!" Now I know most drivers under John at the time won't admit it but I will tell you that having John say that to me kept me going and to this day still means a lot to me!!!!! God Bless you John Loya!!!!!!

I worked with John’s son Tony . When Tony was out after his car accident I did my best to keep the company going. I asked John if he could help dispatch and he said if the KID needs me I will be there. I was thankful for him being there. Thank you John we will miss you . Prayers going out to your family.

I worked with John at Golden Bear , I will miss him God Bless him .
