As a young teenager, our dad headed out of a small ranch called “Lo de Salas de Arriba” in Zacatecas looking for a better future, he ended up in Tijuana around the age of 12/13 years old. He had big dreams and guess what? He fulfilled most of them. He came to the USA at about 15 years old and left a big footprint here. In the U.S. he started off working at a machine shop in LA, went into opening up his own restaurant and eventually ventured off into owning other various businesses, through the success and failure, he always kept pushing forward. He did all he could to make sure he could provide for his family. That self-made man that once had nothing was JUAN MANUEL CASTRO SALAZAR. Born 06/24/1957 and retired on 11/29/2019. We love you dad! You taught us to hustle till you can’t no more, from a hospital bed to a prison cell, you always made it happen. We will always be proud to be your kids.
